On June 24th, 2010 the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a recall of certain Child Craft brand cribs with a drop-side feature that were manufactured between 2000 and 2009 by Child Craft Industries, Inc and Child Craft, LLC. At the same time the CPSC announced a recall on the Child Craft model number F36101 fixed-side crib because it has components that may be installed up side down and, as a result of improper assembly, may present a safety risk.
On July 31, 2009, Foundations Worldwide, Inc. purchased the Child Craft brand and a select group of other assets from Child Craft, LLC. Foundations did not design, manufacture or sell the cribs that are the subject of this recall and we assumed no product liabilities from Child Craft LLC. Child Craft LLC has ceased operations.
No Foundations brand cribs are subject to this recall.
Though Foundations has no obligation to do so, Foundations believes that it is appropriate to take steps to ease consumer’s needs and concerns about these cribs. Please note that, in order to determine whether a crib is subject to either recall, you must have available the model number and the manufacture date that is printed on the label on the inside bottom rail of the crib.
Use this photo to identify the model number and date code.
Cribs that are part of these recalls cannot be returned to a retailer. The retailer will be unable to provide any information regarding the recalls. The best resource is to utilize this website to verify if your crib is part of the recall and to follow the appropriate steps

Child Craft Drop-Side Cribs
The drop-side recalled cribs encompass a range of different models, and none of them were designed or manufactured by Foundations. Foundations has no ability to design or offer a retrofit kit, replacement part, or any other mechanical remedy for the recalled cribs. Foundations was offering all current owners of recalled drop-side cribs a manufacturer rebate on the purchase of a new Child Craft fixed-side crib that has been manufactured by Foundations. The rebate program lasted through December 31, 2010 and is now over.
